Our Student Success Stories - Erin Leonard

Erin

As a Poway High School graduate, Erin attended Texas Christian University from 2011-2012. After realizing she wanted to be closer to home, and in a smaller campus environment, Erin attended Point Loma Nazarene University and received her degree in Managerial and Organizational Communication. Erin realized her passion for learning, and completed PLNU's MBA Program in order to further her knowledge and education.

Throughout college, Erin participated in the TCU Chapter of Pi Beta Phi, and was the PLNU ASB Athletics and Student Spirit Coordinator.  Erin worked at SOS Entertainment for her sophomore, junior and senior years at PLNU. Erin recommends participating in an internship or corporate position while in school. She says that the experience you gain is critical, and you're able to bring real world situations back into the classroom.

Erin's fondest memory from PLNU was creating the All Black Event (ABE Event). Partnering with her roommate, the two were able to create an off campus event that hosted over 200 guests. The event was an artistic exhibit for sculpture, art, photography, food and drink and was complete with an original fashion show featuring two Loma students. Erin enjoyed her time at PLNU because of the freedom for creativity, small class sizes and close relationships with professors.

Currently, Erin is the owner of her own boutique marketing and branding consulting company in San Diego, CA. She loves working on her company as she has the freedom to travel and meet exciting new people!

Erin, we are so proud of your accomplishments, and loved working with you as a CBC student!
